Delete your Sunnah Helper account

This page explains how to delete the account you created in the Sunnah Helper app, and what is deleted. It is the "data deletion" page required by Google Play and the App Store.

Sunnah Helper works without an account. If you never signed in, there is nothing to delete on our side: uninstalling the app removes all your data, which lives on your phone only.

Delete the account from inside the app (recommended)

1. Open Sunnah Helper.
2. Go to Settings → Cloud backup & sync → Account.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

The deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Delete the account by email

If you no longer have the app installed, send an email to support@sunnahhelper.com from the email address of the account with the subject "Delete my account". We will delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email. We may ask you to verify that you own the address.

What is deleted

• Your account (email/Google/Apple sign-in) in Firebase Authentication.
• Your cloud backup: settings, saved location, deeds and reminder rules, tracking log and quiz history.
• Your At-Tadāʿī data: the duas you asked, your Ameens, your reports and your block list. Published duas are removed from the wall.
• The subscriber marker on your account.

What is not deleted

• Data on your phone. Deleting the account does not touch the app on your device; uninstall the app to remove it.
• Your subscription. Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; deleting the account does not cancel billing. Purchase records are kept by RevenueCat and the stores for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• Anonymised server logs, kept for up to 30 days.
